The Greene County High School cross-country teams head to the 5 x 80 Golf Course south of Menlo today to compete in the West Central Valley Invitational. This will be the second meet of the season for Coach Kelly Simpson’s Rams and they’ll be looking for improvement, both as a team and individuals from last Thursday’s season opening meet in Ames. Both Greene County teams finished last in their division to start the season.

Nick Killion led the Greene County boys at Ames, while Olivia Hansen and Emily Finch were the top Greene County female runners.

Today’s meet is both JV and varsity and is coed. Starting time is 4:30 p.m.
