Perry based Van Wall Equipment is expanding after purchasing locations in Knoxville, Indianola and Albia.
The company announced Tuesday they have finalized an agreement with AgriVision Equipment Group to purchase the three locations.
This is said to be part of a “longer term strategy for both companies to realign their John Deere agricultural, commercial and consumer territories to better match and serve their other areas of responsibility.”
President and Chief Executive Officer Don Van Houweling says they are “very pleased we have the opportunity to extend our location footprint in the Des Moines metropolitan area and south central Iowa.” He says they look forward to serving existing Agrivision customers and growing the John Deere business.
As of Wednesday, Van Wall Equipment will own and operate all 14 John Deere dealerships in central Iowa.
