980_pedalers_jamboreeBicyclists will enjoy a nice ride and some tunes along the Raccoon River Valley Trail during the first Pedalers Jamboree Iowa this weekend.

Several Dallas County communities are preparing to welcome visitors Saturday and Sunday.

The route starts in Waukee and will continue to Dallas Center where riders will be entertained by Ira Grace and the Bible Belt Prophets along with The High Crest Saturday morning.  The next stop is Minburn where Jean Marie Salem Project and Chad Elliot will perform, followed by Ryne Doughty and Hillary Scott in Perry. The final Dallas County stop of the day is in Dawson where cyclists will hear from Mr. Baber’s Neighbors and Acoustic anonymous before riding into Greene County and spending the night in Jefferson.

Sunday morning, riders will head south into Guthrie County before stopping in Linden where Mighty Shady and The Tarakis will perform.  The Redfield stop will feature The Candy Makers and SP3 and Adel will have the Jeff Banks Band on hand for entertainment until participants ride back to Waukee for the after party.
