A daily program for kids returns today at the Greene County Community Center.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner says any child five years-old or younger can participate in Tot Time.  From 9 to 11am Monday through Friday, kids can come to the community center and play with a variety of toys in the gym.  Lautner points out that Tot Time is not just for kids.

“We think this is a good opportunity for moms to get out and get together.  I know when I was a mom, it was always kind of nice to talk to another mom, so you’re talking with an adult.  We do have three or four moms that do come in here and chat, but along with play with their kids.”

Every child must be accompanied by an adult.  The cost is $.50 per child for non community center members, otherwise it is free for those who are members.

Tot Time starts today and ends May 20, 2016.
