It was a wild ride for the Panorama Panthers football team Friday night as they captured their first win of the season on their brand new field. Panorama was tied with Ogden 7-7 after the first quarter and would trail 21-14 at the half. A huge fourth quarter rally in which the Panthers scored 34 points in less than six minutes ultimately led them to a 48-21 win and a record of 1-0 in the new season.
Meanwhile, the Guthrie Center Tigers, entering their second season as an 8 player team trailed 18-0 at Stanton, at half time. The Tigers ultimately fell to a tough, young Stanton team by a score of 24-0 and begin their season 0-1.
The Wildcats of West Central Valley fell to Des Moines Christian at Johnston High School by a score of 30-6. The Wildcats begin their season 0-1.
