Funeral services for Opal Strassburg, 84, of Perry, will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 1 at the First United Methodist Chruch in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM at the Rowley Masonic Home Chapel, and will then continue at Murdock Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, August 31. Memorials may be made in her name.

Survivors include:  her husband, Donald Strassburg of Perry; son, Bruce Strassburg of Long View, Texas; and 2 grandchildren.
