The West Central Valley Wildcats played their first scrimmage under their new head coach, Eric Addy, on Friday. Coach Addy says their opponent Madrid was big and tough, but he liked how his team progressed throughout the night. “We started the scrimmage out very slow and had butterflies in our system, with a new system, new offense, new defense and seeing those big guys from Madrid. We got the butterflies out and then I liked at the end of the scrimmage, how we finished.”
The Wildcats begin their regular season Friday with a trip to play Des Moines Christian at Johnston High School.
