Greene County head football coach Dean Lansman, the rest of the coaching staff, and the players on the 2015 squad, are hoping to clean up mistakes made in the August 21 sports drink scrimmage in Jefferson with Class 1A tenth ranked Panorama. The Rams used varsity players for three series of offense and defense vs. the Panthers and the results were spotty.

Panorama scored twice against the first team defense, and another time against Greene County reserves. On offense, the Rams had at least one first down on all three possessions, but did not score. They turned the  ball over twice both times in Panorama territory, and punted once.

The Rams open the regular season this Friday night in Lake City vs. Class 1A ninth ranked South Central Calhoun. Coverage on KG98 begins at 6 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m.
