A deputy assisted the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue with a medical call at the Casey’s General Store in Grand Junction.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 1500 block of T Avenue about a civil issue pertaining to a property dispute.
A deputy transported two dogs to the animal shelter in Jefferson after they were found running at large on Highway 4.
A deputy and two units from the Greene County Emergency Medical Services responded to a reported two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highways 30 and 25, north of Scranton. A car being driven by Lynette Marie Brown 47, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, was eastbound on Highway 30 and slowed to turn south onto Highway 25 when an eastbound semi-tractor trailer being driven by Christopher Douglas Dzuris 39, of Jefferson, failed to slow, and struck the Brown vehicle. Lynette Brown and three other passengers in her vehicle were transported to the Greene County Medical Center for further evaluation with minor injuries reported. Brown’s car was estimated to be a total loss. Chris Dzuris was not injured and the semi sustained only minor damage. The accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s office at this time.
In all case when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
