The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met Thursday. The Board approved a fireworks permit for Paul Davis and a contract with Caliber Concrete to do work at the courthouse. Longevity raises were approved for Chad Redfern and Tony Wagers. County resident Lee Whetstone attended the meeting to complain about a Secondary Roads Department employee he believes used a County truck to try and run him off the road. Sheriff Marty Arganbright told the Supervisors his office investigated the case and found no ill intent in the actions of the County employee. The incident described by Whetstone resulted in no damage to either his vehicle or the County’s and there were no reported injuries.
