All of us could probably afford to get rid of some extra things in our home or office and the Perry Public Library is hosting a program later this month to help prioritize what’s really needed.
It’s a topic that hits close to home for Library Director Mary Murphy who is in the process of cleaning out her parents home, and she’s not alone. Murphy says a book on the topic has been very popular and is constantly checked out from the library. So she has invited Too Much Stuff owner Joann Hesse to come share her expertise.
“She knows where to take all these oddball collections and give you advice about getting rid of your stuff, organizing your stuff, whittling down your stuff.”
The program is part of the Lifelong Learners series and everyone is welcome to attend. It takes place Monday, August 24th at 10am in the library’s large meeting room.
