By far the senior class on the Greene County High School football team has the most returning varsity experience. The group of 12 has lineman Noah Juergensen, who’s entering his fourth season as a varsity starter, along with several others who have either started or played significant minutes since their sophomore seasons. Head Coach Dean Lansman told Raccoon Valley Radio, “I think we have very good senior leadership going into this season. They’re very excited and the enthusiasm they’ve shown has been exciting to see. They are going to put this team on their shoulders and they return a lot of experience.”

The Rams host Panorama (Panora) on Friday, Aug. 21 at Linduska Field in Jefferson for the Annual Sports Drink Scrimmage before opening the regular season on Friday, Aug. 28 in Lake City vs. South Central Calhoun. KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com will have the play-by-play from Lake City on Aug. 28.
