The Coon Rapids-Bayard School District says they’ll be strictly enforcing lunch rules this school year. Data Manager Rena Shaw says any student with a negative balance up to fifteen dollars will not be able to purchase a second lunch or a la carte items. Students with negative balances greater than fifteen dollars will be served the alternate lunch consisting of a cheese sandwich, fruit or vegetables and milk. Lunch this year will cost $1.95 for students kindergarten-second grade and $2.20 for students in 3rd-12th grade. If you have any questions, call Shaw at 712-999-2208.
