The Adair-Casey Bombers football team will try to improve on last year’s 4-5 record, while losing perhaps their two most explosive players. The Bombers are ranked 38th out of 64 teams in 8 man football, according to BCMoore. Quarterback Connor Westergaard, who threw 21 touchdowns and rushed for five scores as a sophomore last year is primed for a big season. They lost their two most explosive offensive weapons to graduation, Emmitt Wheatley and Charlie Terry, but look for senior Colton Cooper to step up in the receiving corps. The Bombers begin their season when they host CAM of Anita on August 28th.
