As we’ve reported, Guthrie County voters chose to keep the Plan 3 method of electing County Supervisors in Tuesday’s election. Supervisor Mike Dickson says despite the petitioning committee in favor of Plan 2 paying for marketing and giving out food to constituents, he’s glad the silent majority made their choice in this election. “I just think it’s great. The people voted and told us what they wanted. It went the way that I liked it to, anyways. It’s good representation of the people.”
Neither of the two officers of the petitioning committee, Steve Brannan and Cheryl Castile, could be reached for comment.
