A new pulmonology and sleep medicine physician recently joined the Greene County Medical Center.

Dr. James Meyer is a specialist in obstructive sleep apnea and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD).  He will provide a full range of pulmonary and sleep medicine services, including partnering with Western Iowa Sleep, a privately-owned sleep study business in Carroll, for the monitoring of sleep studies in the medical center’s new sleep study rooms.

Since 2000, Dr. Meyer has been at UnityPoint Clinic in Fort Dodge, in addition to practicing at Storm Lake and Pocahontas speciality clinics.  The traveling physician will be at the medical center in Jefferson the second Tuesday each month starting on August 11th.
