BC Moore has released their preseason football power rankings and West Central Valley is ranked 52nd out of 56 teams in Class 2A. The Wildcats, who finished last season with a record of 1-8, have lost a lot of their weapons since then. Lost to graduation is their leading passer Bryce Kearns, leading rusher and receiver Alex Coover and four leading tacklers Coover, Brian Keller, Chris Irlmeier and Chandler Wagner. The Wildcats begin the season when they head to Des Moines Christian on August 28th.
