There will be no turnover for Perry fall coaches when the school calendar flips to 2015 and 2016. Perry was able to retain all four of their fall coaches from a season ago. Jason Olejniczak will return to lead the Bluejay football team as they get set to compete in 3A District 2. Perry finished last season 3-6.
The Perry volleyball team will bring back Kristel Kautzky-Schultz for the second year. Schultz returned Perry to winning volleyball in just her first year at the helm. The Jayettes went 18-17 after going just 7-31 the year before Schultz’s arrival.
Jeff Fox and Nathan Krohn will lead the Perry cross country teams this season. Both squads return a lot of talent after fielding some of the youngest teams in the Raccoon River conference last year.
For more than a decade, one name has been the leader of Perry swimming. Jean Dowd returns to the post this fall looking to build back numbers for a program that constantly competes against larger schools and bigger numbers. The Jayettes return all of their main starters from last year as they look to compete for individual and team honors.
