A deputy spoke with a resident in the 300 block of 3rd Street in Rippey about a phone scam she received from a male subject stating that he was working on behalf of the IRS and she needed to send money or be arrested. She did not comply and called the Law Enforcement Center.

A deputy was dispatched to Scranton to investigate a vehicle that was reported to be driving around town soliciting for a gas giveaway. The vehicle was stopped and the driver’s identity was determined.

A deputy was asked to check the status of a male subject in the 1100 block of State Street in Scranton.

A deputy spoke with a home owner in Grand Junction about the attempted theft of property from a residence he just purchased.

A deputy was advised by a resident in the 1000 block of Sand Street in Churdan that he is receiving harassing phone calls from a female. The female was advised of the harassment concern.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
