The weekly farmers markets in Perry continue to go well this summer.
Those wanting a chance to take advantage of all the market has to offer, Perry Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says need to act quickly.
“I have to say, you’ve got to come early. Some of our vendors are selling out. Which is a good thing for those vendors but a bad thing for those late shoppers as well.”
Also, Wilson says they’re always looking for additional talent to join in on the live entertainment portion of the weekly tradition.
“BRG Music has been supplying a (public address) system, so if you’re interested in coming down and playing for a few hours, if you’re a musician and you play a harmonium or a guitar or whatever it may be, come down. It’s kind of an open mic type thing.”
The market takes place in Perry’s Caboose Park each Thursday through September from 4-7pm.
