After an early exit in the postseason, there is probably more to look forward to, than look back upon for the Guthrie Center High School softball team. They have several young stars, either 8th graders or freshman, bolstered by the powerhouse trio of Savana Fuller, Genevieve Hoover and Emily Pavelka who look to lead the team in future years. Head Coach Tim O’Brien says he’s proud of the way his young team performed. “They kind of got thrown into action this year for multiple reasons and they really stepped up and did a great job–all of them did.”

The Tigerette’s season ended when they fell to Adair-Casey last Tuesday.
