Guthrie County 4-Hers attended Static Judging Day at the fairgrounds Monday. The annual event is where ribbons are awarded for non-livestock exhibits. Ethan Laughery, a senior at Panorama High School, says his ‘Man in the Mountain’ photography exhibit was inspired by a hike with his family along the Colorado Rockies. “I was walking along and this rock turned out to look like the face of a man. I was kind of looking at it, thinking of interesting ways to take this picture. I used the shrubs, bushes and trees to make it look like the man had hair. I’m glad I took the picture, I’m very glad with how it turned out.”

The Guthrie County Fair takes place September 3rd-7th.
