Greene County Supervisors to Meet Tomorrow

The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow.

The Board will consider for approval the County Treasurer’s investment and driver’s license report for June along with the semi-annual report.  The Supervisors will also consider a merit increase for Sherry Graven, the office manager for the County Engineer’s office.

Jefferson City Administrator Mike Palmer will also give a monthly update on the City.

The meeting will be at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
Juggling Act Coming to Greene County Libraries

The Greene County Library Association and the Greene County Board of Supervisors are sponsoring a free event this week.

Jason Kollum is a juggler and will be visiting all six county libraries on Monday and Tuesday.   The performances include audience participation and a variety of stunts.

His first stop is at the United Methodist Church in Jefferson at 10am on Monday.  At 2pm, H.F. and Maude E. Marchant Memorial Library in Scranton will host Kollum and at 6pm, he will be at the Rippey Public Library.  On Tuesday, the first performance will be at the William Paton Public Library at 10am, at the Churdan Public Library at 2pm and at the Grand Junction Public Library at 6pm.

The public is invited to the free shows.
