Injuries to two of West Central Valley’s star softball players have forced them to withdraw from their second Saturday tournament in a row. Both the speedy, senior leadoff hitter Olivia McAtee and freshman pitcher Taylor Beane are currently on the disabled list, not allowing the Wildcats to have enough depth to play three games this weekend at Nodaway Valley’s tournament in Greenfield. The team similarly had to withdraw from Martensdale-St. Mary’s tournament this past weekend.
