Marissa Promes fell to 11-1 on the season with the loss. She allowed six hits and five earned runs. She only walked , but also hit two with pitches and threw three wild pitches. The Rams scored an unearned run in the top of the first and Tressa Rasmussen hit a solo homer in the second inning for a 2-0 lead. EM used a Taylor Fricke two-run homer to tie the game in the fourth, then went ahead 3-2 on a pair of doubles. The last three runs of the frame were unearned. The Mustangs added two more runs in the fifth while collecting just one hit, a single.
