The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has released a new Iowa Sex Offender Registry notification.

27 year-old Michael David Franson of 803 3rd Street, Apartment #1 in Perry is a member of the state’s registry.  Franson’s registration is the result of a 2011 conviction of Possession of Child Pornography.

There are now two dozen registered sex offenders listed as living within a five mile radius of Perry.

These notifications serve as a means for the public to protect themselves and any action taken against this person can result in arrest and prosecution.
