There’s another bike ride pedaling out of Perry this weekend, this one also for a good cause.

Relay for Life of Northern Dallas County is hosting a Bike for Life event Sunday.

It’s an approximately 26 mile poker ride that starts and ends at Caboose Park in Perry. Additional cards will be picked up at the Forest Park Museum, Minburn city park and Dallas Center trailhead.

Registration for the ride is $20, or $30 with a t-shirt while supplies last.  It includes lunch at Caboose Park, a map and water stops throughout the ride. Prizes will also be awarded for the top two hands of poker, along with the worst hand.

All proceeds go to support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to find a cure for the deadly disease.
