As previously reported, the West Central Valley football Wildcats have a new head coach. Eric Addy had been a coach at Des Moines North High School for the past three seasons, including two as defensive coordinator, before accepting the coaching position at West Central Valley. District Activities Director Tod Broman says Addy’s experience and passion were part of the reason for him being offered the job. “Fact is that he was very energetic, he had a lot of ideas. He did his homework. He studied up on West Central Valley and our football program. He knew a lot about the program and the people involved.”
Broman says the two remaining football assistant coach positions are expected to be filled soon.
