Friday, May 29th
A deputy was dispatched to a reported motorcycle lying on its side on Highway 30 between Scranton and Jefferson. The deputy was unable to locate any vehicles in that area from Jefferson to the Carroll County Line.
A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street in Rippey to investigate a reported theft of personal property.
A deputy was advised of the location of a possible under age party in the eastern part of the county.
A deputy removed a deer carcass from Highway 30 near Oakland Avenue.
A deputy was asked to check on a resident in the 200 block of West Paton Street in Paton. The individual was located and spoken to by the deputy.
Saturday, May 30th
A deputy responded to an alarm activation at the Casey’s General Store in Grand Junction. The deputy and the key holder determined that the store was secure.
A deputy responded to transport a small dog from a residence in the 500 block of East Rebecca Street in Grand Junction to the animal shelter in Jefferson.
A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of 4th Street in Rippey to help mediate a civil property concern.
A deputy was advised and located a careless and erratic driver in the 2300 block of U Avenue. The driver was evaluated and advised of the concern for his driving.
Sunday, May 31st
A deputy was advised of a reckless driver in the 300 block of South 8th Street in Grand Junction. The driver was located and advised of the driving concern.
A deputy was dispatched to remove a deer carcass from the roadway on Neola Avenue and 310th Street.
A deputy assisted the Grand Junction Rescue with a medical call in the 2000 block of 170th Street.
A deputy transported a female prisoner that had been arrested by the Jefferson Police Department with active warrants from Guthrie County, to the Greene County line to be picked up by a Guthrie County Deputy.
A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Eagle Street in Scranton to mediate a verbal altercation. The altercation was resolved without incident.
A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of South 11th Street in Grand Junction to investigate the possible burglary to a home.
A deputy was advised of a noise concern involving a backyard party in Churdan.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
