“It’s exciting!” That’s how Greene County boys’ head track & field coach Dean Lansman put it when asked about taking seven events to the State Coed Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. The three-day event begins today and goes through Saturday. Lansman added. “I’m very happy for the kids. For a couple of them, this is their last opportunity to be down there and do it one more time on the blue oval, so it’s very exciting.”
