A deputy located and arrested Christopher Herbert Lawrence 35, of Jefferson, for Driving While Barred.

A deputy was asked to assist the Department of Human Services with an investigation.

A deputy was dispatched to Main Street and Irving Street in Scranton to investigate a reported two vehicle accident. A vehicle that was being driven by Kathryn Marie Owen 37, of Scranton, was southbound on Main Street and attempting to turn left onto Irving Street when a pickup truck, being driven by Isaac Joseph Perez 19, also of Scranton, attempted to pass the Owen vehicle, striking her car. No injuries were reported but damage to the Owen vehicle was estimated to be $3500. Damage to the Perez pickup was estimated to be $500 and Isaac Perez was issued a citation for Unsafe Passing.

A deputy was advised of harassing phone calls being placed to a resident in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton. The deputy spoke with the male subject initiating the calls and advised him that charges would be pursued if the calls continued.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
