Coach Heath Telleen’s Greene County High School girls’ golf team finished fourth among seven teams at a Class 3A Regional tournament near Clarion on Monday in windy and cool conditions. Clarion-Goldfield/Dows won the event with an 18-hole total of 368. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura was next at 391, followed by Clear Lake with 433. The Rams shot 459 with Pocahontas Area at 472, Estherville-Lincoln Central 481, and 506 for Forest City. Meet medalist was Emily Snelling of Clear Lake at 78, with runner-up honors to Mikaela Livengood of C-G at 86.

The Rams ended their season with the fourth place finish, but Coach Telleen was very pleased with how the girls played, not only Monday, but all season.

Mackenzie Dennhardt led Greene County at the Regional with 104 for 18 holes. Katelyn Hagen was next for the Rams at 107, followed by Rachael Danielson at 119, and 129 from Lakota Larson.
