A Dedham man has pled guilty to felony charges from two incidents in Greene County.

According to court documents, 26 year-old Cody Lee Sellman recently pled guilty to a Class D Felony charge for possession of a firearm by a felon.  The charge stems from when the accused waved a sawed-off shotgun in the air during an argument in the 1600 block of Scranton Street in Scranton on December 29, 2014.

Sellman also pled guilty to a Class D Felony for third degree burglary.  Charges stem from when the Greene County Sheriff’s office responded to a burglary in progress in the 900 block of Grant Street in Scranton on March 9th.  The accused left the scene before deputies arrived, but the suspect’s identity was already known.  The Carroll County Sheriff’s office assisted in the investigation which led to Sellman’s arrest.

A hearing has been scheduled for May 22nd.  Sellman remains in the Greene County Jail.
