The annual Greene County Ram Coed Relays were held in Jefferson at Linduska Field on Monday night with the Greene County girls and Carroll boys winning team titles. The Rams had 177 boys to 147 for the Boone girls. ADM was third at 85 with 56 by East Sac County, 48 for Kuemper Catholic, 39 for Perry and 35 from Carroll. The Carroll boys edged Boone 119-117 with Saydel in third, the Rams fourth at 92, 65 for Perry, East Sac County 32, Kuemper 22, and seven points from Guthrie Center.
ADM first place finishes: 100 meter dash- Kari Dufoe, :12.53; 800 meter run- Jenny Wicks, 2:35.62; 4 x 800 meter relay 11:11.00 (Wicks, Ellise Mueller, Sydney Engleman, Erin Person); Sprint medley relay- 1:59.06 (Piper Freestone, Olivia Anderson, Mallory Pierce, Brianna Mueller).
Greene County first place finishes: 3,000 meter run- Emily Finch, 12:18.01; 100 meter hurdles- Eme Johnson, :16.29; 400 meter hurdles- Johnson, 1:09.67; 4 x 200 meter relay 1:53.79 (Hannah Stein, Emma Saddoris, Emily Christensen, Olivia Hansen); 4 x 400 meter relay 4:19.78 (Hannah Stein, Saddoris, Christensen, Hansen); Shuttle hurdle relay 1:09.55 (Mollie Sorber, Nadia Fisher, Sarah Sandage, Johnson); Discus throw- Hannah Onken, 118′ 3″.
Perry’s girls did not have any first place finishes.
On the boys’ side, Alex Rasmussen of Greene County won both throwing events. He claimed the discus throw at 143′ 2″, the shot put at 48′ 9-1/2″. The Rams also won the shuttle hurdle relay in 1:02.67 with Dylan McConnell, Joe Doran, Daric Whipple, and Tyler Beger, and they were first in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.86 seconds with McConnell, Dalton Weber, Dylan Hamilton, and Max Neese.
Perry did not win any boys’ events, but Kegan Pfau was second three times, in the 800 meter run (2:05.49), the 1,600 (4:57.86), and the 3,200 (10:33.95).
