The Dallas County Extension and Outreach Office is looking for volunteers to become WIN Program volunteer educators.

WIN stands for Wellness and Independence through Nutrition.  It’s an outreach project to reduce hunger for underserved, mid-life and older Iowans with limited incomes.

These volunteers will conduct interactive presentations about healthy eating and container gardening to Iowans who are 50 years or older.  Training involves a 90 minute session at the Extension office in Adel, where the educators will be taught how to conduct the presentations and how to contact organizations to schedule them.
