The indoor track and field season began on Monday for the Greene County High School girls, but the March 20 Buena Vista University High School meet indoors at Storm Lake will be the opener for the Ram boys. Coach Dean Lansman told Raccoon Valley Radio what he hoped to get out of the meet. “I don’t know if you want to call it a glorified practice, but everyone gets to participate. There’s no team score, but it is a chance to see everybody, put some people in some different relays, and just get an idea of what we have for the outdoor season coming up.” Starting time for girls and boys events on Friday is 4 p.m.

The Rams host the Greene County Early Bird Meet on Monday, March 30 in Jefferson at Linduska Field to begin the outdoor coed track and field season.
