Annette Ervelli from 1131 E 11th St., Carroll, was traveling westbound near the 25000 block of Hwy 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported and the estimated damage to the vehicle is $4000.00.
Christine M. Chase age 31, of 813 Dallas St., Dexter was arrested for failure to appear on original charge of driving while under suspension.
Iowa Wall Saw from Independence reported the theft of heavy duty extension cords and tools used on a construction site located at 13773 N. Ave, Bouton. Estimated loss of equipment is $220.00.
City of Dexter reported the attempted break in at the water treatment plant.
