For the first time in his young coaching career, Perry Head Coach Ned Menke was named the Raccoon River Conference Coach of the Year by his coaching peers.  Menke guided Perry to their first winning season in eight years and captured the school’s first Raccoon River Conference championship since 2003.

“One of the neatest things for me this year was to see our Perry crowds continue to grow and grow.  We had so many people in the stands the last month of the season and that means a lot to our kids.  Our student section was great all season.  We ended the year on a nine game home winning streak and a big reason for that was the participation of our crowd.”

The South Obrien native is already looking forward to next season and a strong returning core of Bluejays to continue on the winning ways.
