Perry senior Claire Marburger led the Jayettes in a lot of different categories this season.  The 1st team all district and all conference selection will go down as one of  Perry High School’s all time great scorers.  But it’s not the points that future Valparaiso star is most proud of.  “Rebounds.  Without a doubt, certainly rebounds,” Marburger smiled.  “I always took a lot of pride in getting offensive and defensive rebounds.  It is a skill set that takes energy and hustle and I enjoy those parts of the game.  I scored a lot of my baskets on rebounds.  That’s an area I put a lot of focus into in the off season and will look to keep getting stronger for the next level as well.”

Marburger led the Jayettes in both offensive and defensive rebounds this year.
