The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate another year of success in business, volunteerism and community pride this spring at their annual dinner.
Set for Tuesday, April 7th at the Hotel Pattee, the event will include highlights of 2014 along with some special recognition. Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says it’s one of the highlights of his year.
“The very important part of that evening is we give away a couple of awards, one being Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and also Volunteer of the Year. We don’t take enough time to slow down and thank all these people that make these programs and take this effort to really make Perry the great place that it is. I love this evening because we do that. I wish we could give more awards out, because there’s a ton of deserving people.”
Nominations for the awards can be submitted to the Chamber office or shared with a board member.
