After a 61 to 60 nail-biting win against Greene County Saturday night in Stuart, the West Central Valley girls will head to Carroll Wednesday night for a round two playoff game against Kuemper Catholic. With the Greene County win, West Central Valley improves to an even 11-11 record on the season, Kuemper Catholic is now 14-8 after they beat Atlantic in the first round of the playoffs 62 to 53. Both Kuemper and West Central Valley have senior leaders, Bailee Arnburg leads West Central Valley averaging over 18 points per game, and Maria Dentlinger averages over 14 for Kuemper Catholic. The BCMoore Power Rankings have the Kuemper Catholic girls as the 6th best team in Class 3A, noting that they have played the toughest schedule in the entire class. BCMoore has West Central Valley ranked 45th in Class 3A, and says their strong point is that they have the 24th best offense. Tip off is scheduled for 7 pm Wednesday night inside of the Kuemper Catholic High School gym.
