A deputy was dispatched to the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Grand Junction for an alarm activation. A bank key holder and the deputy determined that someone had slid papers under the door causing the alarm to activate.

A deputy while on routine patrol in Scranton discovered smoke coming from the roofline of a home in the 800 block of Main Street. The Scranton Fire Department was dispatched and extinguished the fire. Lester Johns, the home owner, was inside the home at the time and was advised of the fire by the deputy and was directed to vacate. No damage estimate or origin of fire is known at this time.

A deputy was advised by a rural Churdan resident that she was involved in a money scam on Facebook.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton to investigate the report of Criminal Mischief to a screen door window. The deputy determined that the high wind may have caused the window to fall from the door.

A deputy was advised of an erratic and careless driver on Highway 30 near Jefferson. The vehicle was located and the driver was evaluated and advised of her driving pattern.

A deputy was out of position and unable to find a reported careless driver between Grand Junction and Jefferson.

A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with locating several male subjects that were subsequently arrested by Jefferson Police Officers.

A deputy assisted a Grand Junction resident with placing a dog into the animal Shelter in Jefferson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
