The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has notified us of a new local sex offender registry.

According to the release, 34 year-old Joshua Stephen Haag of 511 Clearview Dr. #1 in Perry is a member of the Iowa Sex Offender Registry.

Haag’s registration is the result of a 2007 Polk County conviction of Lascivious Acts with a Child under the age of 13.

These notifications are meant to serve as a means for the public to protect themselves, and any action taken against this person can result in arrest and prosecution.
