A deputy was asked to investigate the report of a youth receiving alcohol from an adult in Scranton.
A deputy provided traffic control on 260th Street, east of L Avenue, while a vehicle was towed from the ditch.
Tuesday, February 10th
A deputy assisted a Scranton resident with informing the Iowa Attorney General about a phone scam that she had received. She stated that the caller wanted her to go to the bank and get a certified check and mail to an address in Louisiana for charges incurred in winning 1.5 million dollars from Publishers Clearing House.
A deputy was advised of a theft of personal property from a residence in the 300 block of Main Street in Cooper. After an investigation by the deputy it was determined to be a civil issue.
A deputy was asked to return a call to a resident in the 800 block of Sand Street in Churdan involving a phone scam.
A deputy was dispatched to the report of illegal dumping of trash in the 1500 block of F Avenue.
A deputy spoke with a Churdan resident in the 500 block of Head Street about criminal mischief to the siding on her home.
A deputy assisted a Carroll County Deputy with a traffic stop in Scranton and the subsequent arrest of a male passenger in the car. The male subject had a felony arrest warrant from Sac County.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
