The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider a resolution for the plans and specifications, the contract and estimate of cost for the 2015 Sanitary Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation project.  A public hearing and a receipt for bids will also be scheduled.

The Council will also consider for approval a proposal for a computer upgrade at the water treatment plant, a resolution for a plat of survey for part of the former railroad right-of-way east of Elm Street, adopting an outdoor warning siren activation policy and employing a new golf course manager.

There will be also be a recognition for a volunteer for her years of service at the Jefferson animal shelter, a Jefferson Matters: Main Street update and a public hearing scheduled for the 2015-16 budget.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
