The high school wrestling postseason begins tomorrow at 12 p.m. for Class 1A and 2A programs in Iowa as Sectional Tournaments will be held throughout the state. Greene County travels north to Humboldt for a 2A Sectional, and along with the host Wildcats, will compete with East Sac County (Lake View), Pocahontas Area, Southeast Valley (Gowrie), and Webster City. The first and second place teams will advance to a Feb. 10 dual meet regional tournament, while the top two individuals in each of the 14 weight classes move on to District competition in Webster City at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14.

Coach Mark Sawhill’s Rams have been in regular season tournaments with every team except ESC, which may enter as few as five wrestlers in tomorrow’s sectional. The Rams are expected to fill 11 of the 14 weight classes with 113, 120, and 152 lbs.likely to be open. The Rams are led by three top 10 rated wrestlers by thepredicament.com. Junior Tommy Bradshaw at 145 lbs. is ranked fourth, senior Jordan Challen at 138 lbs. is sixth, and senior Abe Yoder is ninth at 132 lbs.
