The Perry boys basketball team will look to remain in first place tonight when they travel to Winterset to battle the Huskies.  Perry currently leads the conference by one game after defeating ADM Tuesday night while at the same time seeing Bondurant Farrar lose to Carlsile.  Perry is 9-2 in the RRC while Bondurant sits 8-3.  Winterset has struggled this year going 1-10 but gave Perry a tough battle earlier this year losing by only six.

“We have to keep our composure down there,” commented Perry Head Coach Ned Menke.  “That gym can get really loud and the baskets hang down a little lower with the old fashioned back boards.  It’s a real fun environment to play in but we better be ready to go.  Winterset will hustle and they have some really, solid outside shooters.  It will be tough test.”

Perry defeated the Huskies 60-54 earlier this year.  You can listen to tonight’s game at 7:30 on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
