The threat of snow is once again back in the Raccoon River Valley, as a preemptive Winter Storm Watch has been scheduled for Dallas and Adair Counties to begin at 6 pm Saturday night, and will last until 6 pm Sunday night. National Weather Service estimates indicate that the Raccoon River Valley could receive between 4 and 8 inches of snow this weekend, with the heaviest portions occurring in the southern boundary of the region.
