A deputy was dispatched to a reported electrical power pole that was sparking at J Avenue and 270th Street. The Midland Power Cooperative was advised and sent a crew to repair the line.

A deputy was dispatched to a car-deer accident on 235th Street near Q Avenue. A 2007 Chevrolet van being driven by Brett Steven Magee 54, of Jefferson was westbound on 235th Street when a deer ran onto the roadway and was struck by his vehicle. No injuries were reported, but the van sustained an estimated $2500 in damages.

A deputy was advised of another car-deer accident on 240th Street east of Scranton.  The driver reported that she was leaving the scene and would pick up a state report at the Law Enforcement Center.

A  deputy was asked to check on a small unattended fire in the 300 block of West Main Street in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
