The West Central Valley girls varsity basketball team has already won more games this season than they did all last season, and there’s still six more games left for them in the regular season, including tonight’s contest against Madrid in Stuart. A key player for West Central Valley this year has been senior Bailee Arnburg, the perennial star is averaging nearly 19 points scored per game. West Central Valley’s Madrid opposition will have already played two games since Tuesday, and may be exhausted. Madrid’s roster contains no dynamic scorer, they are led by junior Taylor Bickman who is averaging less than 7 points per game. The game will be both team’s last chance to impress pundits before the regional pairings are announced on Monday. Tip off is set for 6 pm tonight inside of the West Central Valley High School Gym.
